Cadex Inc. is looking for its future administrative assistant.
Role and responsibilities:
1. Transport and ship incoming goods:
- Request quotes from carriers
- Evaluate transportation and customs charges and ensure that they are respected when invoicing
- Follow up with carriers between pick-up and arrival
- Ensure that the necessary documentation is complete and given to the right people
- Inform the customer of the weight and dimensions of the packaging, and obtain shipping instructions for each shipment
- Invoice the customer
2. Support the sales department
- Enter orders
- Contact customers to obtain payment
- Answer the telephone and direct the call to the right person
- File documents
3. Requirements and skills sought
- Spoken and written languages : French (intermediate) and English (intermediate)
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Team spirit
- Ability to work under pressure
- Telephony skills
- Customer service skills
