Cadex Inc. is looking for its future administrative assistant.

Role and responsibilities:

1. Transport and ship incoming goods:

  • Request quotes from carriers
  • Evaluate transportation and customs charges and ensure that they are respected when invoicing
  • Follow up with carriers between pick-up and arrival
  • Ensure that the necessary documentation is complete and given to the right people
  • Inform the customer of the weight and dimensions of the packaging, and obtain shipping instructions for each shipment
  • Invoice the customer

2. Support the sales department

  • Enter orders
  • Contact customers to obtain payment
  • Answer the telephone and direct the call to the right person
  • File documents

3. Requirements and skills sought

  • Spoken and written languages : French (intermediate) and English (intermediate)
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Team spirit
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Telephony skills
  • Customer service skills

Work schedule :

  • 8 hours
  • Monday to Friday
